The Noah’s Ark Preschool is a ministry of the First United Methodist Church of Colleyville that is monitored under the Texas Department of Protective Services and Regulatory Services. We provide a faith based Christian curriculum designed and targeted to a build solid foundation of learning.Here at Noah’s Ark Preschool, learning becomes a rewarding and happy experience. We view children as a gift from God and as individuals with individual needs. Our goal is for your child to gain confidence and to build success while learning Our teachers provide a safe and loving environment while your child is growing and learning. Our classrooms use primarily manipulative, hands-on centers that encourage development in cognitive skills, language development, fine and gross motor skills, social interaction, as well as, emotional and spiritual growth.A brief description of our day: free play, snack, circle time, centers, music, chapel, outside play and rest time. During circle time the teachers introduce the theme and letter of the week. The teachers also discuss the calendar, weather, color and shape of the month. A monthly bible verse and bible word is also introduced. Circle time is also a time for singing, dancing and story time. Most importantly, we hope your child will fall in love with learning and love coming to school!

Child Safety


Noah’s Ark Preschool operates on an open door policy and parents* of children enrolled in the program are welcome at any time to visit and observe their children’s class.The faculty and staff maintain a tight three-point security system for the children. Non-parents who arrive to pick up children are carefully screened, and no child will be released until the staff are satisfied as to their safety.*The open-door policy applies to parents only.

Our Staff


Our teachers have been specially chosen for each class. The staff attends an orientation outlining the Preschool’s guidelines, expectations and program goals. In addition, they attend in-service training and receive support on an ongoing basis throughout the year.


All staff, visitors, and volunteers are screened and criminal history checks are completed on all individuals prior to their hiring and/or working with children.
